Nowadays, most game developers have toned down the challenging courses of their games to give players an easier way to top level. However, a good number of them add a hard level or difficult mode for players who are looking for a good challenge. However, there are those very tough mobile games where the developers have worked extra hard to make it difficult for players to move up the ranks. Here are six such games that require retrying and tough skin to break through.
UFO: Enemy Unknown
If you love strategy games, this is one mind boggling strategy games that you can try from Mythos Games. The Xcom game has an unforgiving attitude to those lax players who do not want to think beyond the conventional moves. As the name suggests, this is a game that you play against aliens. Xcom implemented fog-of-war to create a dark corner that takes away many of the soldiers on your side if you are not careful. The aliens will exploit any mistakes that you maketo bring you down, killing your soldiers mercilessly while at it. This is one of the hardest games that you can easily fail in the first stage.
God Hand
God Hand was created by Capcom in 2006. Although it was not a commercial success, its hard and brilliant storylines are worth trying. Across all the four gradations (level one to level die), you will meet insurmountable challenges that you must beat for your character to stay alive. To make it easy for players to play through, the provider added a difficulty meter that responds to player skills. It keeps on adding difficulties as you improve your skill. Unfortunately, all the skill levels are hard and demand high concentration. However, the harder the game, the higher the rewards.
Dead Cells
Dead Cells is a game by Motion Twin and has inspiration from Metroidvania style of gaming. The game was released on various platforms, including Windows, Linux, MacOS, Xbox One, Nintendo Switch and PlayStation 4. You take the character of an amorphous creature that takes up the body of a corpse to fight its way out of a dungeon. Unfortunately, the game is surrounded by death and you are going to work hard to stay alive. Players die several times before they get their ultimate prize, which makes it a hard game to crack.
Fade to Black
This was one of the first games to convert 2D design into 3D design. It boasts of precision controls that enable players to act quickly to challenging situations. Despite its good outlook, the game has so many enemies that are able to eliminate you with a single hit. One of such creatures is a blob that is hard-to-target and dissolves any person it makes contact with. It is hard to move up different levels as death awaits you in every corner, making it one of the hardest games to crack.
Final Fantasy IV
Final Fantasy IV is a mythical game built around sorcerers by Square Games. It follows a character called Cecil, who is a dark knight, as he tries to prevent a sorcerer called Golbez from getting hold of some powerful crystals to destroy the world. A group of allies come to his aid. Unfortunately, the group of allies changes regularly. The most challenging part of the game is the “hard mode” which even experienced players have great difficulty with.
Go
Go has earned the reputation of being one of the most difficult games in the game space. The game from AI Factory limited has a free mode that you can try. It is a strategy game where two players compete against each other to see who covers the most territory. It uses black and white stones, where one loses when surrounded by opponents. The game has ten difficulty levels with the most difficult level played on 19×19 boards. Few people are able to make any progress on this level as every strategy is met by a counter-strategy. Additionally, its premium versionhas additional features that make the challenge even harder.
Do you believe you are good at making moves? Try any of the above games to see if you are equal to the challenge.
